 Welcoming of all persons and views espoused under the “big tent” of the Democratic party 

 Promotes diversity in its membership, government, and community, including but not limited to gender, race, religion, age, and sexual orientation 

 Focused on promoting positive change in the community through engagement in the political process 

 Ensures that each and every member of the community has the opportunity to fully participate in developing a strong and vibrant coalition to elect Democrats to represent Hillsborough Township residents 

 A natural ally to other community organizations that share these values, including but not limited to organized labor, social justice, and other organizations affiliated with the Democraitc Party and its mission
